I’m proud to be the one and only State Farm agency in Proctorville, Ohio. Since opening my agency in Chesapeake, Ohio in July 2013 and relocating to Proctorville in August 2014, I’ve been committed to helping individuals and families throughout Proctorville, Chesapeake, Crown City, South Point, Ironton, Coal Grove, Lawrence County, Gallia County, and Scioto County with their insurance needs. My State Farm journey began in November 2010 when I joined Herbie Strange’s office with the goal of becoming an agent. After serving as an agent aspirant team member and additional intern, I opened my own agency on July 1, 2013. I was drawn to this profession because of the opportunity to help people prepare for the unexpected and protect what matters most to them.

I live in Proctorville with my wife, Haley, and our two sons, Remi and Bodhi. Haley works in education, and our family stays active through sports, cookouts, family gatherings, and time spent with our Labradoodle, Indi. As a former two-sport college athlete, I learned the value of preparation, teamwork, and showing up when it matters most. I played football and baseball throughout my academic career, including collegiate football as a quarterback at Wilmington and Ohio Dominican, and college baseball for Ohio University Chillicothe. I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

My agency has been recognized for its work and customer service, including being named a Top 100 New Agent in four product lines in 2013. We have also earned multiple qualifications for Ambassador Club and Bronze Honor Club. We proudly assist customers with Auto Insurance, Fire Insurance, Life Insurance, and Health Insurance, helping families protect their vehicles, homes, health, and loved ones.

Giving back to our community is a big part of who we are. We partnered with Fairland Local Schools in 2015 and have supported local students and athletes ever since. Since 2018, we have awarded nearly $30,000 in scholarships through the Rickey Shifko State Farm Leaving a Legacy Scholarship program. I currently serve on multiple boards, focused on our local community, and youth sports in this area. Our agency also sponsors the Rome Apple Festival, the Lawrence County Fair, local youth leagues, academic programs, and the Fairland Dragons Network. We are proud to support schools and organizations throughout Proctorville, Chesapeake, South Point, and Ironton.
